“Be thankful to Me (Be Grateful to Me)” This is where it all started. A lot of people say “words have power,” but when the word comes straight out of the mouth of the Creator, for sure, I believe it now.
There’s a verse from the Bible that says:
“So My Word which goes from My mouth will not return to Me empty. It will do what I want it to do, and will carry out My plan well.” - Isaiah 55:11 (NLV)
I have been living this for almost a year now. Inspiration here, inspiration there. Slowly developing from ‘the-purpose-of-my-life’ to a creative worship movement. Who knew that four words could inspire gifts of creative gratitude, visionary art for God, sacred psychedelic art, modern faith-based art and produce surreal spiritual apparel, all for the glory, worship and pleasure for the Creator.
Here at T.C.O.G. The Church of Gratitude, we’re always looking for new ways to turn the bizarre and boring everyday into offerings with symbolism, meaning, and sometimes, with a touch of humor, to spice things up to keep the Creator amused and entertained.
I’m currently working on a comic book that features all of the above plus more. Check out thechurchofgratitude.com to learn how you can join this spiritual-psychedelic art movement to create things to honor the Creator.
This month’s reflection:
If the Creator’s words in our lives always come back with a well executed plan, why do we worry about the ‘how’? The ‘how’ is not for us to worry about, rather we should focus on the what. That is “Creator, what do you want me to do?” Doing so is not only a fun experience (because Its bizarre ways are illogical to human ways in most cases), but also brings success.
Remember: not how, but what.
Worship the Creator… psychedelically.
